Side Story: Spaghetti Monster
As I was waking up ithought, ah what a wonderful morning. It was such a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the sjy was a clear blue, and some clouds were scattered across the skies. I could hear the morning nirds chirping and the morning breeze drifted through my open window. What a wonder ful day, I was thinking whne I realised it was that day. The day of the destruction of man, the day the devils runs me over, the day I am cursed. Yes today was Thursday. It was band. I groaned out loud, as though I controlled the weather, when I looked out side al I could see was gloomy skies, cloudy weather, and waht looked to be approaching rain clouds. All because of band.
So I dragged my self to get ready for school. Those kids, I thought, they always find a way to get on my nerves, penguins, flying books, prolonged abseneces. And one of my best students are absent. She the only one who keeps me sane. I sghed again and headed to the bathroom.
I got out of the bathroom all clean and washed. My hair smelled nice, and I had used my favourite soap, but nothing could cheer me up. All I could think about was what was waiting for me at school. I got dressed. Today I wore a pair of black dress pants, like usual, and a green stripy shirt, vertical stripes of course, horizontal stripes make me look fat. I grabbed a coat and headed downstairs to get some breakfast.
My wife was waiting for me downstairs which was most likely going to be best part of my day. She had made ham and chiken omlet, she had squirted a heart onto my omlet like I always like and a mug of coffee was steaming hot beside my plate. I went over and lightly kissed her and then sat down to eat.
As I was eating I bit something and heard a crunch. I spit out was was in my mouth onto a napkin. Red bood and a tooth among half chewed and mushed up egg. I then felt the pain in my mouth.
“mmmy fooff fuf fel ouw,” I said though I sounded like an idiot. What I was trying to say was that my tooth just fell out. My wife looked at me funny then saw the blood and ran upstairs. She was no help, hs ehas a weak stomach so I guess she could not handle the sight.
My mouth was relaly in pain now. I went over to the sink and filled a glass with cold water. I started to rinse my mouth. All the water turned redish. So much blood from just one tooth. I figured I should just go to the dentist and get it checked out. It dawned on me that I would get to put off on seeing those brats.
I got ht ephone and calledmy dentist. The response I go tfrom the secretary shocked me. My dentist was on vacation and all appointments for him were scheduled to another dentist. I sighed for the fourth time today and just agreed to have the other dentist see me. I was told ot come in at 9, so I had a bit of time to spare befor ei had to go. Now that my tooth had just came out I could not eat my omlet amymore, but looking at my omlet made me wonder jus what had casued my tooth to fall out. I broke open my omelette and found some hard grey things. What were they I had no clue, and I did not really want to find out so I left it as that. When the dentist would ask how it happened ill just say that I tripped on the stairs.
I went over to get my caot and as I picked it up I heard a rip. I
I went and got my caot from the chair I had placed it on and headed out the door. I yelled ot my wife I was leaving and she yelled back have a nice day. I wonder when she would go back downstairs because I left quite a bit of blood in the sink. I ha dalso stuffed some tissues in my mouth to help stop the bleeding. It was not working very well. The tissues were getting soaked up just as it would it you ran water over it. So much blood loss, will I even live. Was what I was thinking as I changed the tissues again.
I drove over to the dentist office and walked in. I then remembered that I had to call in late. I reached down to my coat pocket and found no phone. Where is my cell. I reached my hand farther into my pocket and my hand went straight through. A HOLE!!! I groaned and sat in a plop on the nearest chair. First my tooth then my phone, and I still had band to put up with.
As I was sitting in despair the secretary called my over.
“Mr. Clastivolviotoni,” the secretary tired to say but messed up like everyone does. “right this way, Dr, Hedwick will see you shortly.
I followed her to a small room downa hallway and to the right of the desk. Room 112. I sat on the dentist chair and looked around. The window still showed no signs of happieness or tranquility. What a sucky day.
I was dwelling on the fact that my life sucked when dr. Hedwick walked in. It was a lady. My dentist had always been a man so having a lady for a dentist was a surprise.
Dr. Hedwick was a newer recruit to the office. Still some what young but had a glint of curiousness in her eyes. She wanted to learn and I could tell, teacher’s sense you could say. But something in her eyes also mad eme fear her. maybe she wanted to learn a bit too badly. Her voice was calm and soothing but those eyes. They could pierce right through you if you weren’t careful. She asked me what I need to be fixed an told her the whoel story I had made up in the ride here. I said I was rushing to get ot work then tripped and fell on the stairs and hit my jaw on the railing and my tooth fell out. She noted what I said and told me to open my mouth. With a slight bit of hesitating I did. She examined my mouth and picked up a drill. I panicked and closed my mouth. She chuckled and told me I was acting like a kid and ordered me to open my mouth again. With more hesitation this time I eventually did.
I had a really bad feeling about this. As she brought the drill closer to my mouth I cringed.

NANO 2008 Chapter 5
LOVE TRIANGLES AND MESSED UP THOUGHTS
Satuday October 7, in dorm, before breakfast,
Yesterday as I rushed to practice almost collided with some guys. I thought I recognised one of them. They looked so familiar. Oh well I probably will not see them again. Oh my gosh. I almost lost my journal yesterday. I had left it in the dorm and someone could have fully taken it and read it. Thankfully no one did. So I have to be more careful now.
I am still very sleepy. I think I am going to go back to bed. Goddnight, or would it be good morning. I will just say good bed. Sleep time.

As Lilly woke up she relised that her journal ws gone. “hey! Who took my journal!” yelled Lilly when she woke up. She woke up everyone else.
“why are you yelling?” Alyssa asked groggily.
“I can not find my journal!” Lilly yelled again. She was spazing now. She coullld not find it. “I remember writing in it this morning. Then I went to bed. . . ” Lilly suddenly gasped. “Oh no! I left it on the desk some one could have come in and taken it. Oh why is this happening to me.” she put head in her hands.
Anna was just getting back from running with Trevor. “hey! What is going on. Why is everyone so uptight. And why is Lilly tearing up the room?”
“she lost her journal.” Phoebe said. “she is really paranoid about her journal. No one has ever read it. Even Kory has only read like a page.”
“wow. Here we will all help you find it.” Anna said reassuringly. “come on everyone it has to be here somewhere.”
“Thanx everyone. I do not know what I would do with out you guys.” Lily said gratefully.
So they searched and searched. They turned the room upside down, quite literally. They called Kory over to help so six of them were looking for the journal. Lilly, Kory, Ayssa, Brittany, phoebe, and Anna. Tatiana just sat there on her bed ooking quite amused at their findings of nothing.
“you know I bet some one has already taken it and left the premisis.” Tatiana announced, “And before you guys balme me I would like to say that I did not take it. I was out the whole morning with my boyfriend. He just got here. He used to live in Caldestien. He moved all the way here for me. you could even ask him and he would say it was true.”
At the word Caldestian Lilly froze. “did you just say Caldestien?”
“yes I did, but I doubt any of you lower class people have ever heard of that city. It is all the way in Alberta. Very nice place, I was suppose to go to a school there for the arts program. That is where I met him.” Tatiana replied.
Kory was the next one to freeze. “You did not just say Caldestien in Alberta did you.” Kory interrogated.
“I did and why are you so interested in Caldestien?” Tatiana said questioningly, “my boyfriend is coming up later with his friend. I will be leaving with them. I do not care what or where you lost your stupid journal just do not mess up my part of the room.”
Kory and Lilly looked each other thinking the same thing. Who could Tatiana be dating? And did they know him. And who was his friend. The shook it off and decided they probably did not know the guys. They had probably gone to the boarding school north of the city and had nothing to do with them.
“fine” said Kory and Lilly in unison.
Tatiana left about ten minutes later, and none of the girls looking for the journal noticed who Tatiana’s boyfriend and friend was. Even though the two guys noticed the girls.

“Yo Cole. Was that just Kory and Lilly in there?” James asked Cole.
Before Cole had a chance to answer Taiana butted in, “Wait. How do you guys know thoses two losers?”
“So they are Kory and Lilly? Sweet I did not think that I we would find them this fast.” James exclaimed, Cole and James hi fived.
Tatiana stoped in front of them, “you still have not answered my question. How do you guys know them?”
“oh Lilly and Kory. They are our old friends. They are from Caldestien. We both liked Lilly at a point. Well actually James still likes Lilly. I do not like her anymore only as a friend I have some one more special. You.” Cole answered as he wraped his arms around Tatiana.
Tatiana shook him off, “you liked her. . . both of you. Unbelieveable. What do you guys see in her. She is so. . . I do not know but I do not get what is so good about her that everyone like her. Whatever as long as you do not go back to her I am good” Tatianna replied haughtingly.
“Do not worry baby, I only have you in my eyes.” Cole said sweetly and began to gently kiss Tatiana.
James was beginning to feel awkward so he took his leave saying, “I will leave you to love birds alone. I will catch up with you guys later.” With that said James left Cole and Tatiana and began to wander around the halls hoping to bump into Lilly.

“No! It is not anywhere in this room. Some one really did take it!” Lilly said despratly. The six of them, Lilly, Kory, Alyssa, Phoebe, Brittany, and Anna, had searched the room the whole morning. After a while Anna had left to go hang out with trevor and Kory had planned to meet with some of her room mates to go to the movies.
So Lilly, Ayssa, Phoebe and Brittany sat on the floor of their dorm tired of tearing the room apart. Lilly was on the verge of tears. It was her mmost precious belonging. The thing closest to her heart. All her feelings. Ups and downs. Raves and complaints. Compliments and laughs. If anyone read it then they would know her most iner thoughts. And some of Kory’s. . . .
“maybe some one did take it. We can go ask people if they see it around not to read it and just give it back to you?” Brittany suggested.
“yeah let us split up and go outside I think we all need some fresh air.” Alyssa said.
So the four girls split into towo groups. Phoebe ans Brittany and Lillt and Alyssa.

“so do you think some one could have read it already?” Lilly asked paranoid.
‘No I do not think so. Maybe some one took it in a rush to get some book or somthing?” Alyssa lied to keep her friend from worrying too much.
So the two girls walked around the campus telling and asking everyone if they had seen or seen some one with Lilly’s journal. Some said they might have but probably did not. Some were sure they did not and some people just ignored them.
Soon time for luch came. So they met back up with freys and Brittany to compare findings. They had not ofund anything. So they went to the cafe and sat at their usual table.
Mr. Blank had wanted to make an announcement so everyone had began to take seats and sit quietly. Just as mr. Blank was about to speak the doors brust open. Like in a movie, the people brusting through the doors were spotlighted and all eyes were on them. The people coming in. . . were none other than Tatiana and she had brought her boyfriend.

Tatiana and Cole had been walking when the met up with James again. It was lunch time so they wanted to head back. The were late when they brust through the doors.
Tatiana had her arms by her side and Coles arm over her shoulder. They looked lke a real couple. Many people were shocked. Tariana had a boyfriend? But as the third person walked in all eyes went to him.
Girls sat there mouths gaping open. The guy that had walked in was none other than James. Tjough he was a skated boy he was a different type of skater than all the people in the cafe. The guy all loked at him with digust whisphering among themselves about why he was there.
Lilly had noticed Cole and Tatianna first. As she ran to go talk to Tatianna and ask why she was with Cole she tripped over a bench and fell.
“thanx for the hand” Lilly said dusting herself off. She had not yet noticed who she had helped her up.
“Lilly?”
Lilly looked up. When she did she saw a guy that looked familiar but yet so different. He had reminded her of James back from Caldestien but she had shaken that thought away knowin he can not possibly be in Dastern. But on second thought she thought to herself what if he had come with Cole?
“Is that you James? Llly questioned waringly. She did not know who he was and she was a bit creeped out.
“Lily it is you! And you recognize me.” James exclaimed
“James. How come your here? And you have changed a lot. But wait I have to talk to tatianna. And that is Cole with her is not it?”
Yes it is me. Lilly.” Cole said from behond her.
Lilly jumped. She did not relise that cole was right behind her. She turned to Tatiana who had a look of digust on her face. Clearly not happy with the fact that her boyfriend knew Lilly. And was actually friends with her.
“I can not believe you guys actually know her.” Tatianna said in disgust. “and you guys actually liked her. Oh wait James you still do like her”
At that comment James blushed and turned away from Lilly who was now lookinh at him.
Oblivious of what was suppose to happen mr. Blank interrupted. “umm. . . excuse me but could you ladies and gentlemen please sit and have your conversation later after I make my announcement.”
The four heads turned at that. They had forgotten that hey were in the cafe and there was suppose to be an aniuncement.
“sorry.” They all mumble not quite in unison.
They sat down. After the anoucnement they ate their lunches at their separate clique tables and did not talk to eacdh other til anftewards.

After lunch Cole, James, and Lilly were talking non-stop. They had been away from each other for a month or so and so much had changed.
“so your parents moved here and you came too. And you were already dating Taiana at the time?” llly questioned cole.
“yeah. And James wanted to come too. And his parents said yes so my parents were fine with it.” Cole answered. “I think he came because you were here.” Cole whispehered to Lilly.
Lilly blushed.
“okay ebogh you guys. I can not stand this. I have not liked Lilly since day one. And I am not spending an entire day with her. I will be in my dorm cole. Come find me when you are done talking to this loser.” Tatianna said hautingly. She marched off.
“why does she hate me so much?” Lilly asked.
James finally spoke do you not know? Her father is the richest man in Manitoba. And her mother passed away 4 years ago. She is used to getting whatever she wants. Her father is always traveling so she does not get any attention from him. She only get spoiled. And by the way what did happen on the first day that made her hate you?”
“oh. I had arrived earlyier than her and took the middle bottm bunk bed. And she wanted it so she tossed all my stuff on a different bed and said it was hers now. So I felt offened and took all her stuff and threw it out the door. Then I pushed her off the bed and lied down on the bed. And my room mates Alyssa and Brittany had agreed with me about the bed and sat on the bed with me bscking me up.” Lilly replied :thats pretty much what happened.”
Cole laughed “oh so thats what happened. I htough something like thsat probably had happened if it concerned you. You were always very protective of your stuff,”
Lilly gasped. “I forgot. I lost my journal. You guys have to help me find it!”
Whar does it look like?” James asked. Even though he wanted to talk to Lilly alone and about other stuff he would help he.
“it has this realy cool asian design. You know the bok Kory got me in the summer. Right before we left. I showed it to you guys.”
Oh yeah. I remember now. I think I saw Tatiana with something that looked lke it. But I do not think she stole it.” Cole said
Either way let us ask her
So the three of them made their way to the dorm and when they opened the door there was a fight going on.
Whoa whats happening? Cole yeled over th din
She has Lilly journal Brittany replied
And she said shwe didn’t take it freys yelled
Its mmine. I bought this a week ago tatoanna argued angrily
If its your prove it ayssa arugued back
Fine I will tatianna said
So they all gathered around tatianna and tatianna opened the book. And. . . IT WAS TATIANNA’S!
Sry tstianna we all thought it was you cause you have a grudge against Lilly and well we do not know anyone else with the same type of book.” Phoebe admitted shyly
Just get your all your grubby hands away from me and my stuff tatianna said offended
Tatianna left the room and cole went with her. Lilly sat down on her bed and sighed. Sad that the problem revolving around her journal was not solved yet. that also left James in the room full of girls.
“hey whos he” Alyssa whisphered to Lilly
Yeah who is he he is really cute” Brittany said joining in.
Hey introduce us will you phoebe pestered.
Fine’ Lilly said finnaly “James meet phoebe, Alyssa, and Brittany. They all think that you are either cute or hot.” And lily sat back down on the bed sighing again.
James blused and said hi to all of them. They all sqeeled and went to whispher about him on aylssas bed.
“Its ok Lilly we will find your journal soon.” James said reassuringly. “I will not stop till I do. How does that sound.”
“Would you really. I know you like me still and all but would you really?” Lilly said brightening up a little.
“Yeah I will anything for you”
“Thanx” and Lilly wrapped her arms around him and rested her shoulder on his. James enjoyed this moment for he could comfort the one he loved at the time she needed him. He held her tight and thought if only he could keep her there . warm and safe.

“oh. I had arrived earlyier than her and took the middle bottm bunk bed. And she wanted it so she tossed all my stuff on a different bed and said it was hers now. So I felt offened and took all her stuff and threw it out the door. Then I pushed her off the bed and lied down on the bed. And my room mates Alyssa and Brittany had agreed with me about the bed and sat on the bed with me bscking me up.” Lilly replied :thats pretty much what happened.”
Cole laughed “oh so thats what happened. I htough something like thsat probably had happened if it concerned you. You were always very protective of your stuff,”
Lilly gasped. “I forgot. I lost my journal. You guys have to help me find it!”
Whar does it look like?” James asked. Even though he wanted to talk to Lilly alone and about other stuff he would help he.
“it has this realy cool asian design. You know the bok Kory got me in the summer. Right before we left. I showed it to you guys.”
Oh yeah. I remember now. I think I saw Tatiana with something that looked lke it. But I do not think she stole it.” Cole said

So the three of them made their way to the dorm and when they opened the door there was a fight going on.

She has Lilly journal Brittany replied

So they all gathered around tatianna and tatianna opened the book. And. . . IT WAS TATIANNA’S!
Sry tstianna we all thought it was you cause you have a grudge against Lilly and well we do not know anyone else with the same type of book.” Phoebe admitted shyly
Just get your all your grubby hands away from me and my stuff tatianna said offended
Tatianna left the room and cole went with her. Lilly sat down on her bed and sighed. Sad that the problem revolving around her journal was not solved yet. that also left James in the room full of girls.
“hey whos he” Alyssa whisphered to Lilly
Yeah who is he he is really cute” Brittany said joining in.

Fine’ Lilly said finnaly “James meet phoebe, Alyssa, and Brittany. They all think that you are either cute or hot.” And lily sat back down on the bed sighing again.
James blused and said hi to all of them. They all sqeeled and went to whispher about him on aylssas bed.
“Its ok Lilly we will find your journal soon.” James said reassuringly. “I will not stop till I do. How does that sound.”
“Would you really. I know you like me still and all but would you really?” Lilly said brightening up a little.
“Yeah I will anything for you”
“Thanx” and Lilly wrapped her arms around him and rested her shoulder on his. James enjoyed this moment for he could comfort the one he loved at the time she needed him. He held her tight and thought if only he could keep her there . warm and safe.
